This traditionally styled German quartz cuckoo clock features white hands, and a wood dial with Roman numerals. The cuckoo clock case is surrounded by five deeply carved maple leaves with a single hand-carved bird seated at the peak of the roof. Two decorative pine cone weights are suspended beneath the clock case by two seperate brass chains. The hand-carved maple leaf pendulum continously swings back and forth while the dancers revolve on the turntable above the dial. This clock can be set to cuckoo, play the Westminster Chime, or it can be put on silent mode. Although this clock can be set to cuckoo there is no cuckoo bird. *Great effort has been made to portray each cuckoo clock as accurately as possible. As with many handmade items, the exact coloration and carving may vary slightly from clock to clock. We consider this to be a special part of their character. This clock requires three AA batteries to operate (not included). This clock is covered a two year limited warranty covering workmanship and manufacturers defects.

   This is a great first timer Cuckoo Clock; pay close attention to the measurements it is small. Keeps excellant time BUT batteries for the chime drain VERY, VERY fast like after three (3) days your perfect Cuckoo sound will begin to sound like he’s dieing a slow death after 10 days he’s dead. Be prepared to stock up on batteries.
